“Immigrant Song” - Trent Reznor and Karen O
The internet is exploding this morning with the news of Reznor and Karen O’s Zeppelin cover finally hitting the internet. ‘Finally!’ is what seems to be the collected exclamation as the industrial thump kicks in and Karen O lets loose with a matching ferocity. Also, a six-song sampler that only costs an email address is available on Reznor’s Null Corporation website. [link]
Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross’ The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo soundtrack will be available for both digital and HD downloads on December 9th; as a triple cd package released December 27th; and as a six LP, book, fold out poster, and razor-blade shaped USB drive deluxe package that will be signed by Reznor and Ross, all due to ship on February 6th. I can tell you without even looking that it is most definitely out of my price range… hot damn, it’s $300. Anyway, it will be released by Null Corporation in America and by Mute worldwide.
Does it need to be added that The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo will be out December 21st, and in all likelihood will be outstanding? You already knew that? Good.

Trent is the greatest musician of our times. I say that with no doubt in my mind.
I don’t like Zeppelin. I can’t listen to their music ever. This is proof that Reznor is a musical genius. People don’t...
…I actually like it a lot.
I’ve been pumped about
this film I need this soundtrack oh my god.
